On Tuesday June 21st 2pm at Croydon Conference Centre, Croydon Tech City will be hosting its annual Croydon Tech City Townhall where investors, startup founders, software developers and policy-makers are invited to come and learn about the capital’s fastest growing tech cluster.
In 2016, Croydon is home to over a thousand early-stage and scale-up companies and is recognised by the Office of National Statistics as London's fastest growing digital, creative and technical startup cluster (38% growth between 2011-2014; ONS Business Register).
Earlier in the year, Matt Hancock, Minister for the Cabinet Office, described Croydon Tech City as “a blueprint for the future”, and as part of London Technology Week, Croydon Tech City is hosting an afternoon to celebrate the efforts of the community and chart the past, current and future aspirations of the Croydon Tech City movement.
This will be an instructive afternoon to explain what Croydon as a Tech City will look like in the next few years, and what delegates’ role to play in it will be.

The afternoon will comprise of a series of presentations from the Croydon Tech City management team and a selection of local tech startups, workspace owners, arts/culture, community and council figures.
There will also be an exclusive after-party where delegates can network and meet with local tech companies, corporates and investors.
Last year, two hundred delegates joined us at our Croydon Tech City Townhall to learn about London's fastest growing tech cluster. This year we expect even more.
