Business seminar on Hong Kong as a Technology Super-Connector

 

London, 25 May 2016 - As part of London Technology Week, Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) is organising a business seminar titled Hong Kong – Technology Super-Connector, in partnership with the Institute of Directors (IoD) City of London branch. The event is supported by Tech London Advocates.

The seminar, which takes place on 20 June at 3.30pm , offers the opportunity to learn more about the Hong Kong technology ecosystem and hear what is happening in sub-sectors ranging from FinTech to RetailTech. After the seminar delegates are invited to join a networking reception.

Speakers will include David Stringer-Lamarre, Chairman IoD City in a ‘fireside chat’ conversation with Russ Shaw, Founder, Tech London Advocates. Keynote speakers include Priscilla To, Director- General, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, London, and Ben Brabyn, Chief Executive, Level 39.

Panel discussions will be chaired by Andrew Davis, Head of Investment Promotion, InvestHK, UK. Panellists include: Wendy Jephson, Co-Founder & Chief Behavioural Scientist at Sybenetix Ltd; Charles Ng, Associate Director General of Investment Promotion, InvestHK; Jeff Tijssen, Managing Principal, Capco, Co-chair FinTech Working Group, Tech London Advocates; Karen Winton, Managing Partner, Nest VC.

Closing Remarks will be made by- Sabila Din, Chair Financial Services Special Interest Group, IoD City, followed by a Q & A session.
